Wine Country Theatre invites you to share the magic of live performance with its Gift of Theatre promotion - the perfect way to treat friends, family, or yourself!

We are offering discounted tickets for our 2026 season: AND THE WINNER IS (April 2026, Encore Center, Paso Robles) and MATILDA - THE MUSICAL (August 2026, Templeton Performing Arts Center). (More information about the shows below.}

Whether you're surprising a seasoned theatre lover or introducing someone new to the stage, these tickets make an unforgettable, experience-based gift that supports local arts and brings people together through storytelling.

There are two ways to purchase tickets:
          
  1. Purchase tickets by mail.
         
  2. . Purchase tickets on line.

You will receive by mail a beautiful Gift of Theatre certificate. The mailing can occur in one of two ways:
         
  1. We mail the certificate to you based on the information your print on your mailing form. Or if purhasing online, your address will be entered as you go through check-out.
         
  2. If you would like the certificate mailed to another person, fill in the receipient's name and mailing address on the mail order form, or if using the online option, write the name and address in the "Note to seller" section at check-out.

AND THE WINNER IS tells the comic story of Tyler Johnes, a self-obsessed movie star, who is finally nominated for an Oscar, then dies the night before the awards. Outraged at his bad luck and determined to know if he wins (even though he's dead), he bargains with a heavenly gatekeeper to return to earth for the big night. Along the way, he drags his agent, his acting rival, his bombshell girlfriend and his ex-wife into the journey, in a wildly twisting tale of Hollywood, the afterlife, and how we are judged.

MATILDA THE MUSICAL is based on Roald Dahl's book about an extraordinary and intelligent young girl named Matilda Wormwood who uses her sharp mind and wit to overcome challenges, including her neglectful parents and a tyrannical headmistress, Miss Trunchbull.
